Job Overview

The Associate Director, Learning Experience plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives to elevate the student experience and promote excellence in teaching and learning.

This key leadership position requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong ability to engage collaboratively with diverse education stakeholders, and a proven track record in managing high-level projects and strategic initiatives.

  • Lead teams who support learning and teaching innovation in program delivery across various industry clusters.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with central support areas and broader University teams as required.
  • Ensure the successful development and implementation of education solution design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and leading strategic plans to improve teacher capability and integrate innovative teaching and learning practices.
  2. Leading teams across multiple work streams: Learning & Teaching Innovation, Teacher Capability, Indigenous Learning, and Innovation Projects.
  3. Managing staff performance, mentoring, and supporting teams to encourage learner-centric mindset and achieve best practice.
  4. Developing and implementing education-based projects and capability building initiatives.
  5. Driving the uptake of innovative tools, learning methodologies, and assessment pedagogies.
  6. Developing, leading, and supporting program improvement in regulatory environments, with an understanding of pathways.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications and proven expertise in the leadership of operational teams in an educational environment, and relevant industry experience.

Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
