Gardener Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time Gardener. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a serene coastal environment, supporting our inviting communal areas and well-kept homes.

The role involves delivering garden and property maintenance, ensuring the village is properly kept for the enjoyment of residents. This includes tasks such as mowing and whipper snipping, planting, watering, weeding, spraying, pruning, and clearing leaves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining shared garden spaces and general garden maintenance
  • Mowing and whipper snipping lawns and gardens
  • Planting and caring for flowers, trees, and shrubs
  • Weeding, spraying, pruning, and clearing leaves from gardens and pathways
  • Keeping tools and equipment in good working condition
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current Australian Driver's Licence
  • A genuine love for plants and nature
  • An interest in assisting independent living seniors
  • A green thumb and enthusiasm for gardening
  • Reliability and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of machinery use and basic tool maintenance
  • High organisation skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety legislation
