Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SHMS requirements to ensure alignment with legislative and company standards.
  • Oversee risk management and provide technical support to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Lead system improvements and implement compliance schedules to enhance risk management.
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Lead Auditor qualification
  • Knowledge of QLD coal mining and WHS legislation
  • Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety (desirable)
