About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our dynamic team at ARCA Resourcing Ltd. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for our products, incorporating historical data, market trends, and sales input.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather insights and ensure alignment between demand forecasts and business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse inventory levels, adjusting forecasts and safety stock parameters to optimize stock availability and minimize excess inventory.
  • Manage demand planning processes to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of materials and finished goods.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years+ proven experience as a Demand Planner, Supply Chain Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra) and advanced Excel skills.
