About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our operational efficiency improvement initiatives, you will be responsible for analysing business needs, providing data-driven recommendations, and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements for client reporting, projects and process improvements.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand the data sets required and their purpose.
  • Working with other teams to provide information and bespoke solutions for complex legal reports.
  • Extracting insights from large datasets to make data-driven recommendations.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to optimise data management processes.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst, ideally with experience gained in a professional services setting.
  • A high level of understanding in data analysis tools and techniques including SQL, Excel, SSRS and PowerBI.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to discuss projects and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
