About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at CC Medical as a Child and Youth Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing advanced clinical care to children and young people up to the age of 18 years who present with mental disorders, alcohol and other drug issues, and emotional and/or behavioral problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and treatment services to children and young people with mental health issues
  • Support the Child and Adolescent Court Liaison Forensic Mental Health Service
  • Supervise and teach junior medical staff and medical students
  • Participate in clinical governance activities
  • Contribute to the development of mental health services for children and young people
Requirements
  • Advanced clinical skills and experience in child and adolescent mental health
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
