The Plant Administrator is a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage accurate records for maintenance and repairs, driving compliance and efficiency.
- Support fabrication and mechanical teams with administrative tasks, fostering collaboration and productivity.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and service documentation, promoting seamless workflows.
- Ensure vehicle registrations are compliant and equipment maintenance schedules are up-to-date.
- Assist with safety administration, insurance claims, and continuous improvement projects, enhancing workplace excellence.
- Experience in a similar role or relevant qualification, demonstrating expertise and potential.
- Strong organisational skills, combined with multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with plant management systems, facilitating efficient processes.
- Knowledge of heavy machinery servicing or experience with vehicles, plant, and equipment is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities and high volumes of administrative tasks.
- Proven capacity to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency or reduce errors in previous roles.
- A proactive problem-solving approach, coupled with strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and relationship-building.
