About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Site Systems to join our team at Broadmeadow, a longwall underground coal operation in Queensland's Bowen Basin. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for the coordination and governance of our Safety and Health Management System (SHMS), material risk compliance, mine records, management structure, and associated information systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve the SHMS and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide technical support and guidance to site leaders and employees on safety and health management systems, risk management, and legislative compliance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with site leaders and employees to ensure effective implementation of safety systems
- Lead and participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with safety and health standards
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
About You
- Relevant qualification in safety, risk, law, or a related discipline
- Experience with safety and health management systems, 1SAP, and Flex
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and influencing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
