About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Site Systems to join our team at Broadmeadow, a longwall underground coal operation in Queensland's Bowen Basin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the coordination and governance of our Safety and Health Management System (SHMS), material risk compliance, mine records, management structure, and associated information systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and lead initiatives to bridge any identified gaps, facilitate change, and embed new systems to support the continuous improvement of the SHMS.
- Provide technical support, coaching, and governance of the SHMS, risk management, legislative, and compliance framework.
- Develop strong working relationships and support site leaders to ensure in-field adherence to new and existing safety systems.
- Lead and participate in internal and external audits.
- Document management and record keeping.
About You
- A relevant qualification in Safety, Risk, Law, or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
- Experience with Safety and Health Management Systems, 1SAP, and Flex would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and influencing skills.
- Ability to collaborate and build positive working relationships in a fast-paced environment.
