Senior Lecturer (ILP Coordinator)

This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time Senior Lecturer (ILP Coordinator) to join our academic team at the campus.

  • The ideal candidate will have a BMedMD, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree with relevant professional expertise and eligible for medical registration in New South Wales.
  • They will also have evidence of maintenance of professional development in pedagogy, disciplinary knowledge, and professional accreditation requirements.
  • A strong commitment to rurally focused teaching and research to improve patient and local health care outcomes is essential.

The role requires strong interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as experience in teaching biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, and/or related health disciplines. At Level C, the successful candidate will have demonstrated ability and commitment to deliver high quality and innovative teaching and research outcomes, and an exceptional student experience for rural students.

As ILP Coordinator, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality teaching and advancing rural medical education. You will be responsible for coordinating the Independent Learning Project (ILP) program, supporting rural research initiatives, and contributing to the academic education program at the campus.
