Medical Officer Job Opportunity

Locum medical officers are required to cover various shifts at an acute regional hospital in a vibrant town, south of Sydney. The successful applicants will be responsible for managing patients with diverse medical conditions, including ENT, vascular, general surgical, paediatric surgical, and urology cases.

Applicants must have current AHPRA registration as medical practitioners and hold relevant qualifications, such as SRMO PGY 3+.

The hospital offers a range of services, including emergency departments, paediatrics, surgery, orthopaedics, anaesthetics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and ophthalmology.

Experience rural life in a beautiful historic farming area, surrounded by botanic gardens, historic buildings, mini zoos, vineyards, and other attractions to explore during downtime.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Covering various medical specialties, including ENT, vascular, general surgical, paediatric surgical, and urology cases.
  • Managing patients' care and treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Providing high-quality patient care and maintaining accurate records.
  • Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
