About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team as a Crew Leader for Bridges and Wharves. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role and make a real impact on the Central Coast of NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a dynamic and service-focused team to deliver general maintenance projects, predominantly in the area of bridges and wharves.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance works to ensure quality projects are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively within a pre-determined budget.
  • Supervise and manage an integrated team of day labour staff, contractors, and external service providers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, Council policies, and industry standards related to WHS, Environmental Management, and construction codes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create value for the community through the delivery of high-quality projects.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Civil (Bridge Construction and Maintenance) works or a related field, or demonstrated solid contemporary experience in similar construction works.
  • General Construction Induction (White) Card.
  • SafeWork NSW Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans Certificates (Blue and Yellow Cards).
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Licence to perform dogging.
  • Current MR drivers Licence.
  • Workcover High Risk Elevated Work Platform.
  • Coxswain 3 Commercial Licence.
