As a highly skilled External Security Vetting Analyst, you will be responsible for handling complex personal security clearance processes across various clearance levels. This includes Baseline, Negative Vetting Level 1, and Negative Vetting Level 2.
You will be accountable for assessing components of clearance cases, leveraging your experience in vetting with attention to detail, and managing a complex process. Additionally, you will be responsible for Quality Assurance, enforcing stringent quality controls on Personal Security Files (PSFs), and providing sound, data-driven advice on clearance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and best practices.
- Leverage electronic case management systems for efficient clearance processing.
- Offer advice on clearance outcomes while adeptly handling complex vetting cases and sensitivities.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Attention to Detail: Scrutinize extensive data and identify potential security risks.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation, adhering to the PSPF.
- Time Management: Ensure milestones and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
Ideal Qualifications:
- A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
- Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
- Extensive vetting experience in Government or similar high-security environments.
