About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead to join our team at Credit Union Australia. As a Test Lead, you will play a critical role in implementing and executing our Test Strategy in the delivery of our assigned initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Test Strategy for our strategic programs of work
  • Define and implement test strategies and test plans for our initiatives, ensuring alignment with our processes and methodologies
  • Coordinate stakeholder management, resource planning, and implementation for all testing engagements
  • Lead and mentor a team of testers, ensuring consistency and quality in delivery across various test phases
  • Ensure partners and third-party vendors meet our quality requirements and integrate testing processes with our internal processes
  • Manage the defect management process and tools, ensuring high-quality defect triage and resolution
  • Provide high-quality test reporting metrics to project stakeholders, based on relevant test development progress, execution, and defect
About You
  • 2+ years of experience as a Test Manager/Lead in complex integration projects, preferably in the financial sector
  • 5+ years of experience in testing within software development projects at Test Analyst and Senior Test Analyst levels
  • Experience in managing test teams with various resources from different test disciplines, using onshore and offshore models
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written documentation
  • Extensive experience in developing test strategies, test plans, and other related test documentation
  • Experience across multiple software development methodologies and the SDLC
  • Experience managing vendors and driving accountability for quality
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to work to clearly defined and structured plans, or plan and organize your own workload to achieve tight deadlines
