About the Role

Credit Union Australia is seeking a highly skilled Test Lead to join our team on a 12-month contract. As the Test Lead, you will be responsible for implementing and executing our Test Strategy in the delivery of our strategic programs of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, implement, and execute a comprehensive Test Strategy for Credit Union Australia's strategic programs of work.
  • Develop and refine test strategies and test plans for Credit Union Australia, incorporating supporting processes, methods, and measures across functional and non-functional test phases.
  • Coordinate stakeholder management, strategy, resource planning, implementation, execution, analysis, and reporting for all testing engagements.
  • Manage, develop, and mentor the Test Team, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery across System, Functional, Regression, and Business Acceptance test phases.
  • Ensure partners and third-party vendors meet Credit Union Australia's quality requirements and integrate testing processes with our internal processes.
  • Manage the defect management process and tools, ensuring quality of items raised and adherence to the defined defect lifecycle, including ownership of defect triage.
  • Provide high-quality verbal and graphical test reporting metrics to project stakeholders based on relevant test development progress, execution, and defect.
  • Manage test execution across project streams for multiple test cycles and phases.
About You
  • 2+ years of experience as a Test Manager/Lead involving complex integration projects, preferably within the financial sector.
  • 5+ years' experience of Testing within software development projects at Test Analyst and Senior Test Analyst level.
  • Experience of directly managing Test Teams with a variety of resources from various test disciplines via both onshore and offshore models.
  • Excellent leadership skills and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written documentation.
  • Extensive experience in developing Test Strategies, Test Plans, and other related test documentation.
  • Extensive experience across multiple software development methodologies and the SDLC.
  • Experience managing Vendors and driving accountability for quality.
  • Experience planning, managing, and coordinating business UAT.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to work to clearly defined and structured plans, or plan and organize your own workload to achieve tight deadlines.
