This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity based out of our office. Reporting to the Safety Manager, the primary responsibility of this role will be to coordinate all aspects of Health, Safety, Sustainability & Risk Management for Hastings Deering employees working within our operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and assistance to foster a safe and healthy work environment.
- Evaluate and inspect workplace environments, and practices to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in pre-shift planning, scheduling and inspections to maintain operational safety.
- Contribute to and implement our safety management system, aligning with company and legislative requirements.
- Facilitate Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) investigations and coordinate accident/incident reporting and corrective actions.
- Coordinate Workplace Rehabilitation Program for injured employees to ensure optimal recovery and minimised premiums.
- Conduct inductions and training, ensuring compliance with site and Company requirements.
