Job Title: Mental Health Care Assistant

We are seeking proactive and dependable support professionals to work with individuals who have complex mental health needs. This role is best suited to those who can promote choice and control, and show eagerness to participate in clients' day-to-day routines.

You will be working closely with clinical teams to develop behaviour support plans, restrictive practices and client care support plans. You will also encourage capacity building to enhance clients' skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships and accessing the community safely.

Key responsibilities include providing person-centered active support, personal care with dignity and respect. To be competent in computer/ IT skills and report writing.

Applicants must have full working rights and be able to work a 24/7 rotating roster, which may include mornings (6am-2pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm), active nights (10pm-6am) and SO shifts.
