About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retirement Village Manager to lead our Darlington Retirement Village in Banora Point. You'll be responsible for managing operations and working towards achieving high levels of resident satisfaction while meeting agreed occupancy targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering social activities and events to enhance resident experience
  • Managing engagement of residents and the Resident Committee to optimize resident empowerment and satisfaction
  • Leading Retirement Village operations to ensure compliance with the RV Act, Code of Conduct, and Accreditation standards
  • Managing budget, resource planning, and strategy for the Village
  • Supporting the sales process to ensure sales and occupancy targets are achieved

We're looking for someone with:

  • Genuine passion for interacting with older people
  • Demonstrated management experience in a similar role within retirement living, hospitality, or property management
  • Sales experience within the customer environment with an ability to build client relationships to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Budgeting and reporting experience
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills
  • A sound understanding of the Retirement Village Act would be highly regarded
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relative business systems
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate required
