We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development, data modeling, and data warehousing.

  • Design complex database stored procedures, external functions, and triggers to meet business requirements for BI reporting, data warehouse tasks, session audit logging, and security and disaster recovery.
  • Implement database upgrades and version control, and assist with quality assurance and third-level support.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and demonstrate strong skills in PL/SQL programming, data modeling, data warehousing, XML, and data quality. Retail POS and financial accounting experience is highly desirable.

They will also need to be able to investigate, analyze, and resolve system problems of a complex nature, test software, and liaise with technical authorities. Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral, are essential.

Salary: $85K - $95K, according to suitability to the role and selection criteria, with provision for advancement and increases.
