Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Education Administration Specialist to join our team.

This is a part-time continuing role (0.8 FTE) with a flexible work arrangement, requiring the successful candidate to be on-site a minimum of four days per week.

The Education Administration Specialist will play a key role in supporting the delivery of educational programs within the Sydney Medical School.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating Clinical Teaching - recruiting, engaging, and maintaining strong relationships with clinical tutors and supervisors; managing timetables, bookings, and preparation of teaching spaces and teaching session support.
  • Partnering with Stakeholders - liaising with academic staff, professional colleagues, and clinicians to support teaching delivery and strengthen collaborative relationships.
  • Supporting Assessments - providing logistical support to ensure the smooth delivery of clinical and knowledge-based assessments within the educational program.
  • Enhancing Student Experience - contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters success, belonging, and engagement for all students.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate with influence across various stakeholder groups internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated understanding of an exceptional student experience preferably in the tertiary education sector.
  • Exceptional time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes.
