About the Role

As a Behaviour Support Specialist at ONCALL Group Australia, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional disability care to individuals in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mobile services to a diverse caseload of NDIS clients, supporting their well-being and quality of life.
  • Conduct risk assessments and behavioural assessments to identify behavioural functions and triggers, and develop positive behaviour support and capacity building strategies.
  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS requirements, in collaboration with participants, families, carers, and external professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic care and support to participants, and contribute to the development of evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Engage in reflective practice and collaborative case conferencing to foster professional growth and development.

Requirements
  • Tertiary education relevant to the role, such as a Bachelor of Social Work or Psychology.
  • Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner and registration as a NDIS Behaviour Practitioner, with a relevant ID.
  • Ability to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies to meet client objectives in the home and community.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to oversee and contribute to the development, delivery, and evaluation of evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans.
