About This Role

This position involves direct assistance to clients with acquired spinal cord injuries within their homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Transferring individuals in and out of beds and wheelchairs, utilizing hoists as necessary
  • Grooming, bathing, dressing, and dental hygiene
  • Personal care, including toileting, bladder, and bowel management
  • Basic wound care and self-administration of medication
  • Domestic support (meal preparation, household duties, and laundry)
  • Community access (transporting individuals to appointments and social events)
About You

We seek applicants who can commit to a fixed fortnightly schedule, possess a current driver's license, and have reliable transportation. Holding NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards is also desirable, or willingness to obtain them is required.
