Job Description

**Job Title:** Sports Program Coordinator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Program Coordinator to join our team at Central Coast Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality sports programs and events at our leisure centres, providing excellent customer service and creating a positive experience for our customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver sports programs and events, including basketball, netball, and soccer, at our leisure centres
  • Convene and officiate sports games, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for participants
  • Develop and implement sports programs and events, including school holiday programs and multi-sports activities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

**Requirements:**

  • Current First Aid certificate (HLTAID 003/HLTAID 011) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment
  • Current Resuscitation (CPR) certificate (HLTAID 001 / HLTAID 009) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment
  • Previous experience working in a sport, fitness, or well-being environment
  • Previous experience in officiating soccer, basketball, and/or netball or delivering sports programs
  • Working with Children Check Clearance Number or Application Number as per Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013 (if over 18 years of age), or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment
