Job Title: Casual Umpires and Referees

Central Coast Council is seeking experienced umpires and referees to join our team as Casual Umpires and Referees. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality sports programs and services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Refereeing and umpiring basketball games at Central Coast Council Leisure Centres
  • Delivering school holiday programs, including multi-sports activities, sports coaching programs, and inflatables
  • Contributing to the development of sports and school holiday programs
Requirements:
  • Current First Aid certificate (HLTAID 003/HLTAID 011) or willingness to obtain prior to employment
  • Current Resuscitation (CPR) certificate (HLTAID 001/HLTAID 009) or willingness to obtain prior to employment
  • Previous experience working in a sport, fitness, or well-being environment
  • Previous experience in officiating soccer, basketball, and/or netball or delivering sports programs
  • Working with Children Check Clearance Number or Application Number (if over 18 years of age) or willingness to obtain prior to employment
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $34.85 (includes 25% casual loading) + 11% superannuation
  • Penalty rates apply for weekend work
