About the Job
This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in capital works design and delivery. As part of a leadership team, you will shape one of Australia's most creative and sustainable cities.
Job Description- Lead strategic planning and performance initiatives across the City of Hobart.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the City's services are valued and delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Lead the development, implementation, and review of Council's strategic direction to support sustainable outcomes aligned with community aspirations.
- Provide informed, strategic advice that supports integrated decision making across the organisation.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent, and an advantage to have additional studies in business, urban planning and/or management.
- Registered building practitioner and/or Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia that can sign-off Council design.
- Current Driver Licence.
