About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in MT Thorley, NSW. As a key member of our Field Service team, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services to our customers' heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and component changeouts on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service
Requirements
  • Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Trade Qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar customer-facing position
  • Expert knowledge of mining equipment systems and exceptional diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
  • Firm understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems mandatory
  • Understanding of statutory/legislative requirements
  • Order 43 Coal Board Medical
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements
  • Working@ Heights and Confined Space HRWL preferred
  • Dogging licence
