Job Title: Aircraft Data Specialist

As an Aircraft Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Flight Planning operation at our organization. This position requires a high degree of analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing aeronautical information and performing immediate updates to flight planning databases
  • Identifying, analysing and implementing flight planning system restrictions, and cascading information to relevant stakeholders
  • Updating and maintaining aircraft data for flight planning purposes
  • Collaborating with relevant business stakeholders to support operational activities, including charters and new sector setup
  • Supporting the Flight Planning operation during disruption scenarios such as Volcanic Eruptions and Airspace Closures by building new temporary routes and providing relevant additional information to key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Ability to use initiative with an attention to detail and strong customer service focus and the drive to meet and exceed expectations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an operational team
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills in a high-pressure time critical environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks to meet strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to provide direction, lead, motivate and support team members to meet business objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience working in an operational environment
  • Understanding of the aviation business including an awareness of the competing priorities of both operational and commercial activities
