Job Role: Aircraft Tooling Specialist

About the Position

This role is accountable for performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs on aircraft equipment and ground support systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and repairing aircraft tow bars, engine transport stands/cradles, and other tooling equipment
  • Operationalizing aircraft jacks and related tooling used for aircraft servicing
  • Conducting regular inspections and cleaning of tools to ensure optimal operational condition
  • Implementing meticulous record-keeping in accordance with company protocols
  • Airside driving operations
  • Maintaining a secure working environment

Requirements:

  • Qualification in aviation maintenance (e.g., plant fitter trades)
  • Experience with hydraulic systems operation
  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques
  • Valid driver's license for airside vehicles
  • Hands-on experience with power and hand tools
  • Prior work experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
  • Current Australian working rights
