Tax Consultant Role

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Consultant to spearhead our tax advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert taxation and business advice to diverse clientele.
  • Review accounts & tax returns, ensuring compliance with all accounting standards.
  • Offer bespoke tax guidance where necessary.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, including payroll tax, land tax, fringe benefit tax, stamp duty and ASIC obligations.
  • Collaborate with clients regarding management accounts and handle all client inquiries.
  • Pursue project work in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct technical research to drive business growth.
  • PARTicipate in internal training and committee activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a professional practice setting.
  • Ability to manage complex client portfolios and teams effectively.
  • Proven experience in workflow management.
  • Able to delegate and review junior colleagues' work, ensuring timely completion to budget and high standard.
  • Strong leadership skills, including managing expectations and fostering strong team morale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently.
