Job Overview

The Principal Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in pre-sales activities, working directly with valued clients to assess their business and technical needs. This position requires expertise in articulating and demonstrating the value of the Nuix platform, owning all technical aspects of the pre-sales cycle, from demonstrations to Proof of Concepts to solution design and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide educational events and marketing initiatives for prospective clients on Nuix solutions.
  • Conduct solution demonstrations onsite, at events, or via teleconference.
  • Design and deliver tailored proof of concepts (PoC) based on client needs.
  • Offer clients solution documentation, knowledge transfer, and consultation sessions.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and the Nuix Product/Development teams to align solutions with client visions.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services and the Technical Community to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Nuix solutions, deployment, and best practices.
  • Generate technical presentations, project plans, and workflow documentation.
  • Create and adapt internal/external materials to support Nuix solution implementation.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Senior or Principal Solutions Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Strategic Support Specialist, specializing in selling complex SaaS solutions at the enterprise level.
  • Proficient in using, deploying, and troubleshooting platforms.
  • Strong project management, process analysis, and documentation skills with the ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills across time zones; familiarity with SQL, virtualization, or coding is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
