About the Job

This is a full-time Motor Vehicle Technician role responsible for performing general minor and major services, diagnosing complex mechanical issues, and carrying out major mechanical repairs. You will also be required to maintain a high standard of mechanic workmanship, pay attention to detail, and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • General minor and major vehicle services
  • Diagnostics of electrical and mechanical faults
  • Major mechanical repair works
  • Maintenance of workshop facilities
  • Vehicle inspections
  • Preparation and updating of records on service work conducted

Requirements

  • Focused, diligent, and hardworking attitude
  • Reliable and honest work ethic
  • Ability to work well to deadlines and under pressure
  • High standard of mechanic workmanship and attention to detail
  • Ability to diagnose complex mechanical problems

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience as a qualified mechanic
  • Holding a valid driver's license
  • Australia Work Authorisation (desirable)
