Facilities Maintenance Specialist

The Role

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Loreto Toorak. You will assist and support the Property Manager with the maintenance, improvement, safety and security of the School's physical assets, including the buildings, facilities and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all School buildings and facilities, including the grounds, are always safe, well presented and in good order.
  • Prioritise and action all maintenance requests through close monitoring.
  • Coordinate the delivery and dispersal of goods throughout the school.
  • Assist with the set up and pack up of school functions and events.
  • Liaise with external contractors and service providers.
  • Take a proactive role in identifying and reporting operational health and safety concerns.

About You:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work flexibly under minimal supervision.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Understanding of OH&S and Worksafe requirements.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Sound IT skills and experience with Microsoft Programs.
  • Proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
