Laundry Assistant Required for School Hours

This is a part-time laundry assistant position, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. It's an ideal opportunity for those looking for a role with school hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Organising and maintaining laundry operations daily to meet demand in a timely manner
  • Sorting and separating items needing special attention
  • Washing, drying and folding all items using best standard practices
  • Processing stained items and returning them to inventory
  • Maintaining a time schedule for the laundry required
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained in good working order to maximise efficiency
  • Maintaining a clean and safe laundry area
  • Conducting daily cleaning of all laundry machines
  • Providing cleaning services throughout the centre as required
  • Disposing of rubbish from staff toilets, classrooms and other areas as required
