Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our complex international LAN/WAN and security environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end infrastructure deployments in Asia Pacific data centers, including network and security platforms.
- Build, manage, and support our complex international LAN/WAN and security environment.
- Drive research, innovation, and implementation of infrastructure capacity and reliability optimizations in our infrastructure environment.
- Collaborate with developers, researchers, and hardware engineers on projects that require a stable and scalable platform to operate on.
- Automate, monitor, and benchmark our various networks and systems.
Requirements
- An Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or able to provide evidence of full working rights.
- 7+ years of working experience as a network security engineer, troubleshooting complex network and security issues.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting zone-based firewalls and associated firewall technology with Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Experience in working in a multi-zone, multi-tier firewall architecture across APAC.
- Experience in managing Unix systems.
- Experience in monitoring and managing diverse international WAN networks.
- Able to monitor, debug, troubleshoot issues arising in LAN/WAN's and Firewall infrastructure.
