Community Park Caretaker

This role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of our local parks and open spaces. As a Community Park Caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring these areas remain safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for our community.

You will work independently to carry out a range of tasks including gardening, maintaining park infrastructure, and cleaning facilities. A valid driver's licence and experience in horticulture are essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining parks, gardens, sports fields, and open spaces to ensure they remain safe and welcoming
  • Carrying out gardening tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning
  • Repairing and maintaining park infrastructure
  • Cleaning and maintaining playgrounds and recreational facilities
