Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Aboriginal Clinical Health Worker to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, making a positive impact on the lives of Aboriginal young people and their families.

About the Role

This role requires someone with strong cultural knowledge, experience working with Aboriginal communities, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for providing high-quality health care services, supporting team members, and contributing to partnership development with community groups and health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialized healthcare services to Aboriginal young people and their families in a youth health and multi-disciplinary context
  • Support and provide guidance to team members on culturally appropriate interventions
  • Contribute to partnerships and collaborative initiatives with community groups, health professionals, and organizations
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ability to work under general direction, prioritize tasks, and manage workload effectively
  • Experience working with diverse values systems, cultural differences, and special needs
  • Knowledge of Aboriginal cultures, including family and community obligations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
