Job Description

This role is crucial in supporting both housekeeping and public area operations.

  • Ordering, receiving, and storing linen and housekeeping supplies is a key responsibility.
  • Stocking and maintaining pantries on guest floors requires attention to detail.
  • Conducting stock takes and maintaining inventory levels is vital for efficient operation.
  • Minor maintenance tasks are an essential part of this role.
  • Upholstery and soft furnishing cleaning require physical effort.
  • General rubbish removal and waste management is a critical aspect of the job.
  • Putting away incoming deliveries and supplies needs to be done efficiently.
  • Preparing bedding and amenities for incoming bookings requires attention to detail.
  • Assisting with public area cleaning, including reception, lobby, public bathrooms, and high-touch point sanitation, is an important part of this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing housekeeping supplies and ordering as needed.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of public areas.
  • Providing support to housekeeping and maintenance teams as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable in a physically active role and capable of lifting and moving items.
  • A proactive and helpful approach to supporting multiple departments.
