Are you a detail-oriented and hardworking individual who takes pride in their work?

This role involves maintaining the cleanliness of public areas within a 5-star resort environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all spaces are hygienic, clean and presentable at all times.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Physical activity working on your feet to vacuum, mop, wipe and dust
  • Cleaning front of house: lobby, restrooms, pool area, lifts, public areas, restaurants and bars, conference and event spaces, gym, day spa, carpark etc
  • Cleaning back of house: hallways, offices, restrooms, change rooms, staff room etc
  • Operating cleaning equipment and machinery ie. vacuum, floor scrubber, floor sweeper, carpet cleaner etc
  • Handling chemicals and heavy lifting
  • Pressure washing outdoor surfaces

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Full availability and flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
  • Experience in a public area cleaning role in a 4-5 star hotel/resort or similar environment
  • General cleaning knowledge and experience using commercial cleaning equipment and machinery including floor scrubbers and vacuums, chemical handling and health and safety practices
  • Clear communication and customer service skills, interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Show attention to detail, work efficiently using initiative, be proactive with a positive attitude and take pride in your work
  • Good time management skills and work well in a team environment to perform duties responsibly and autonomously when required
  • Actively perform repetitive manual tasks, heavy lifting and working on your feet
