Accounting Specialist Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial accounting services, ensuring timely delivery of general accounting tasks that meet group policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, perform month-end GL close, balance sheet reconciliations, basic management reporting, and tax support.
- Deliver monthly reporting to business partners, including balance sheets, reconciliation summaries, and P&L analysis.
- Compile reporting packs for various business units as required.
- Investigate and resolve transactional issues, such as misallocations, late adjustments, and inter-company mismatches.
- Analyze P&L to assist with month-end processing.
- Address internal accounting process or control issues.
Requirements
- High-level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to independently problem-solve.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and CA/CPA qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in accounting roles for 5 years or more.
