Job Title

As a seasoned accounting professional, you will lead our financial accounting operations, ensure compliance, and drive business performance.

About the Role

  • Oversight of accurate and timely month-end close and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax, and regulatory requirements (domestic and international).
  • Managing general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and internal controls.
  • Leading and supporting external audits, including half-year and full-year processes.
  • Identifying and driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Providing technical accounting guidance and assessing financial risk.
  • Leading and developing the Accounting Team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and senior executives.

Requirements

  • CA or CPA qualification with 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including AASB 16 (Leases).
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Advanced ERP systems and Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail with strong multi-tasking ability.
  • Deep understanding of statutory and management accounting principles.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Energetic, results-oriented, and hands-on attitude.
  • Ability to influence and lead across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a practical mindset.
