Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our internal and external customers through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Provide accurate and timely information and advice consistent with our customer service policies and procedures.
  • Document all customer contacts to facilitate regular and accurate reporting on service levels and issues.
  • Utilize corporate software to capture customer information and requests for service while maintaining attention to detail and following processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume, customer-driven environment with a genuine commitment to delivering quality customer service.
  • Relevant post-secondary qualifications or extensive training in customer service and administration.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office products, with the ability to adapt quickly to Council-specific software.
  • Demonstrated numeracy and problem-solving skills, including cash reconciliation.
