Job Description">

The primary function of this role is to deliver and develop Medical Science programs at a tertiary education institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and student assessment within the Medical Science discipline.

Specific duties include delivering lectures, tutorials, laboratories, and practical sessions; coordinating units; developing curriculum; and assessing student learning. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to a wide range of medical science subjects, such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and pharmacology.

Engagement with industry partners to enhance clinical placements and student outcomes is also an essential aspect of this role. The ideal candidate will possess innovative teaching approaches, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to applied, real-world education.

  • Doctoral qualification or equivalent in Medical/Biomedical Sciences or a closely related discipline;">
  • Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a teaching qualification (e.g., Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education);">
  • Understanding of higher education issues and the ability to collaborate effectively across the institution;">
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging students and supporting their learning through flexible, multi-modal teaching approaches;">
  • A strong research record, including publications, with the capacity to contribute to the institution's research initiatives.">
