Academic Opportunity in Medical Science Education

We are seeking an experienced Medical Science academic to contribute to the delivery and development of our Medical Science programs.
In this role, you will focus on teaching within the Medical Science discipline, which includes teaching into various undergraduate degrees such as Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Nutrition.
Your responsibilities will include delivering lectures, tutorials, laboratories and practical sessions, coordinating units, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning.
You'll also be responsible for contributing to a wide range of medical science subjects, such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology and pharmacology, while pursuing research and scholarly activity aligned with your expertise.

Key Responsibilities- Teach into various undergraduate degrees in Medical Science
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratories and practical sessions
- Coordinate units and develop curriculum
- Assess student learning
- Contribute to research and scholarly activity
- Doctoral qualification or equivalent in Medical/Biomedical Sciences or a closely related discipline
- Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a teaching qualification
- Understanding of higher education issues and ability to collaborate effectively across the university
- Demonstrated experience in engaging students and supporting their learning through flexible, multi-modal teaching approaches
- A strong research record, including publications
