Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organization.

  • Manage debtor and creditor relationships, including foreign currency transactions, to facilitate seamless financial transactions.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files, streamlining information for efficient access.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts to ensure precision in financial data.
  • Process weekly creditor payments, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Prepare ad-hoc invoices as needed, contributing to timely and accurate billing.
  • Oversee weekly processes for accounts receivable, including statement issuance and credit control to manage outstanding debts and credit limits.

You will work within a collaborative environment, taking ownership of your tasks and their outcomes. You will adhere to company procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to convey information clearly and effectively. You will also demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships, both internally and externally.

We require a high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks. Familiarity with MYOB Exo Business software is preferred, but not essential.
