About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Enterprise Delivery Officer to lead our technology delivery initiatives. This role will be responsible for providing strategic direction, managing complex programs, and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Provide strategic direction aligning product vision, engineering roadmaps, and client needs, ensuring the smooth delivery of software programs of work.
  • Leadership: Lead the delivery of strategic technology projects and programs, ensuring effective management and realization of benefits.
  • Mentorship: Establish and promote best practice methodologies and standards for enterprise delivery, including Agile frameworks, continuous improvement methodologies, and governance practices that enhance quality, efficiency, and speed.
  • Risk Management: Proactively monitor project performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure the success of projects and programs.
  • Financial Management: Ownership of budget and forecasting for enterprise delivery initiatives, including optimizing resource allocation, controlling costs, and ensuring financial sustainability across projects.
  • Tech Vision: Develop, implement, and maintain technology delivery objectives, goals, and roadmaps aligned with Coates' strategy and vision.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage regularly with executive leadership and key stakeholders to align on the status and roadmap of the Software portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and outcomes.
  • Release Management: Oversee and manage Technology Line 1 Risk, ensuring that all technology processes, including development and release cycles, comply with risk management frameworks and internal policies.
  • Culture Leadership: Promote a culture of performance and continuous improvement within the Delivery organization.
  • Team Leadership: Establish and manage project delivery teams with internal and external partner resources, ensuring the effectiveness of onshore and offshore delivery models where applicable.
About You

We are looking for an individual with 15+ years of experience in Program Management and/or technology delivery, with 5 years of experience leading large and complex technology portfolios. You should have experience working with Agile principles, running major programs with matrix reporting, and driving strategic vision. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
