Amida Group is a boutique client-side project management consultancy providing independent and professional services for property and infrastructure projects.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Contract Administrator / Project Manager to join our innovative and client-focused team. Experience working on industrial, warehouse & distribution centre building projects is desirable, as well as commercial and retail.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing projects from scope development to handover, with a proven track record in managing design development as well as up-front regulatory approvals. They should also have experience on new build projects from $10m to $50m+, ideally in industrial or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects from front end scope development through construction to handover, providing a high-quality service that meets and exceeds client expectations.
  • Manage project expenditure and cash flow, identify and manage construction risk, and escalate issues when required.
  • Develop documentation for the appointment of contractors through competitive tendering, manage variations, EOTs, RFIs, and authority approvals.
  • Manage defect identification and rectification, and ensure excellent client serving standards.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or similar.
  • Minimum 4 to 8+ years' experience, ideally with a client-side PM firm or a main contractor on D&C contracts in buildings.
  • Strong project financial reporting skills, strategic thinking, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and previous experience working on construct only and design & construct contracts such as AS4000, AS4902, AS4300, AS2124, GC21, and PC1.
