Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, support, and enhance workplace HR and environmental health and safety (EHS) initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain the EHS management system, conduct risk assessments, audits, and identify process improvements to fortify workplace safety and compliance with 14001 and FSC standards.
  • Ensure contractor safety compliance and manage HR and EHS records to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Investigate incidents, provide detailed analysis and recommendations for improving safety measures, and coordinate return-to-work programs and safety training.
  • Provide high-level WHS and HR assistance to the Director and leadership team to ensure effective management of workplace safety and HR matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Cert. IV in WHS or relevant field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledgeable, efficient, and engaging with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
