About the Role

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Hotel Professionals to join our team at The Star Brisbane, a vibrant entertainment hub in the heart of Queensland's capital city.

Job Description

As a Hotel Guest Service Agent, Porter/Bell Captain/Concierge, Housekeeping Attendant, Laundry Attendant/ Seamstress and Uniform Room Attendant/Facility Cleaner, Recreation Attendant (Leisure Deck – Pool & Gymnasium), or Guest Service/Housekeeping Supervisor/Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and a passion for hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification, with relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
  • The ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
