About The RoleAs a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, you will provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants in Launceston and surrounding areas. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity (4 days per week) that offers a competitive salary package of $80,000 - $110,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience.
Your Responsibilities- You will work in diverse settings, including homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
- You will utilise assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximising NDIS funding.
- You will build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
- You will develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilising positive behaviour support framework.
- You will conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
- You will collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
- Streamlined Behaviour Support Services: Our PBS services are designed to align with NDIS standards.
- Simple Reporting: Easy-to-use Behaviour Support Plan templates reduce administrative work.
- Continuous Learning: Guidance and support from industry-leading clinicians help you excel.
- Flexible Working Options: Enjoy calendar control and create a week that works for you.

- Supportive Environment: Dedicated operational, clinical and admin support enable you to focus on your strengths.
- You must be deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- You should have minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- You require relevant tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field).
