Job Overview

We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals for casual work at our Launceston Children's Contact Service (CCS). As a Casual Support Worker, you will provide support to families who use our services and assist the CCS Supervisor in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to families using our Launceston CCS, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
  • Assist the CCS Supervisor in delivering services, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a safe and inclusive environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Awareness of legislative requirements related to mandatory reporting and knowledge of services available to children and their families.
  • An understanding of child development and parenting needs.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work as part of a team while remaining impartial.
  • The ability to maintain impartiality when working with clients.
  • A commitment to advancing the mission and values of Relationships Australia Tasmania.
